Angel St. Jean has a diverse work experience over the years. Currently, they are the CEO of The Equity Brain Trust, where they focus on helping companies in America implement equity in their operations. Prior to this, Angel worked as the Assistant Director for Strategic Initiatives at the Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Employment Development, where they were responsible for researching, analyzing, and evaluating workforce development issues. Angel also served as an Analyst in the same organization, acting as a liaison between the Mayor's Office and the Baltimore Workforce Development Board. Before that, Angel was the Director of Family and Youth Services at Humanim and a Consultant at Community Science. Additionally, they worked as a Policy and Research Fellow at Smart Growth America and served as the Executive Director of Girard Coalition, Inc. Angel's early work experience includes roles such as Program Coordinator/Director at the City of Ypsilanti and Assistant to the Director at Eastern Michigan University's African American Center for Applied Research and Services.
Angel St. Jean obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University, attending from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, from 2006 to 2008, St. Jean pursued a Master's degree in Urban Studies at Temple University. In 2010, St. Jean completed a certificate program in Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute at Bryn Mawr College.
