Jay Tetzloff

Jay Tetzloff has extensive experience in the field of zoology. Jay is currently serving as the Chief Animal Officer at The Blank Park Zoo since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts at the City of Bloomington/Miller Park Zoo until July 2022. Before joining the City of Bloomington, Jay worked at Miller Park Zoo for over a decade, starting as a Zoo Superintendent in August 2009 and eventually becoming Superintendent. Their tenure at Miller Park Zoo lasted until July 2022.

Jay Tetzloff attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1990 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology.
