Kollen Post is a Senior Reporter at The Block. Prior to joining The Block, Kollen served as Deputy Editor at BMB Russia, where they wrote and edited news and analysis on Russian foreign policy and economics. Kollen also served as Policy Editor at Cointelegraph, where they launched the policy department and wrote and edited dozens of stories per week on topics such as AML, securities law, and sanctions. Kollen has also worked as a researcher at the Syrian American Council, where they analyzed local Syrian news and wrote reports for SAC members and policy advocates.
Kollen Post completed their undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, where they majored in Honors English Language and Literature/Letters. Kollen then went on to complete a Master of Arts at Georgetown University in Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies. Kollen has also studied Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan through the CIEE Summer Program, and English Language and Literature/Letters through dual enrollment during high school at Calvin University.
