Aubrey Valencia

Aubrey Valencia is an experienced educator and program director with a focus on arts integration and emotional intelligence. As the Founder and Executive Director of The Storytellers Project since January 2017, Aubrey has developed an arts-integrated curriculum to enhance healthy self-expression among youth and adults. In addition to this role, Aubrey serves as a Prevention Education Specialist at The Blue Bench, providing sexual assault prevention education to students and workshops for parents and educators. Past experience includes teaching visual arts in community programs, tutoring elementary students in reading and math, and facilitating mental health programs in schools. Aubrey holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, emphasizing painting and art education.
