Geretta Hogendoorn

Geretta Hogendoorn is a medical professional with extensive experience in general practice and cosmetic medicine. Since March 2021, Geretta has been working as a huisarts at Verschillende praktijken while also serving as a cosmetische arts at The Body Clinic since January 2016. Prior experience includes roles as an AIOS huisartsgeneeskunde at VU Amsterdam from March 2017 to March 2021, and as an ANIOS psychiatrie at GGz Centraal focusing on bipolar disorder from September 2016 to February 2017. Geretta was also an arts-onderzoeker en klinisch farmacoloog io at the Centre for Human Drug Research, leading several research projects from June 2014 to December 2015, and served as a tutor at VU Amsterdam while pursuing a medical degree from 2007 to 2014. Research work was conducted at the University of Otago in New Zealand, studying cultural differences in healthcare. Geretta holds various educational degrees from esteemed institutions, including ongoing training in clinical pharmacology and previously achieving recognition as a three-time Dutch karate champion.
