Alice Mazzola is a seasoned professional in activism and sustainability, currently serving as the Global Head of Activism at The Body Shop since February 2019, where responsibilities include developing a global approach to activism and leading the Be Seen Be Heard campaign. Previously, Alice was the International Sustainability Manager at The Body Shop, focusing on the company's sustainability strategy and B Corp certification. Earlier experience includes roles at the Equal Opportunity Commission of South Australia as a Project and Policy Officer, at Siren Associates coordinating community policing projects for Syrian refugees, and as a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant for various not-for-profit organizations. Alice's career also includes managing democratic process support projects in the Middle East and promoting scholarship programs at the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations. Educationally, Alice holds a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Arabic from The Australian National University.
