Ty Smith has over 40 years of experience in recruitment, specializing in accounting, tax, finance, and engineering professionals. Currently serving as a Partner in Client Development & Recruitment at The Bolton Group since December 2005, Ty Smith has a proven track record in identifying talent within these sectors. Prior to this role, Ty Smith operated as a self-employed Executive Search Consultant from 1998 to 2005, focusing on tax professional placements at various levels, from Staff to VP/Partner. Experience also includes work as an Executive Search Consultant for the Lendman Group, Fox-Morris, and Lucas Group from 1980 to 1998. Before entering the recruitment field, Ty Smith served as a Captain and helicopter pilot in the US Army from 1974 to 1979, conducting functional test flights in multiple locations. Academic qualifications include a BA in Liberal Arts from The University of Georgia and an MSBA in Business Administration/Management from Boston University.
