Maya Phillips

Maya Phillips is currently a Build Mentor and Teaching Assistant at Bethel University since August 2023, where responsibilities include attending lectures, grading, leading classes, conducting tours at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and collaborating with other teaching assistants to support approximately 90 freshmen in the Humanities program. Maya has worked as a Salesperson at The Bookstore since March 2022, assisting customers, managing inventory, and engaging with publishers and authors. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Pennsylvania Homeschoolers Accreditation Agency, where Maya facilitated online study sessions for high school students, and as a Sales Associate at Family Pathways, managing customer service and inventory tasks. Maya pursued a Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Bethel University, complemented by coursework in English Literature and Writing from the University of Northwestern — St. Paul.
