Dr. Yvette King

Dr. Yvette King is an experienced chaplain and program manager specializing in spiritual formation at The Bowery Mission since May 2015. Responsibilities include overseeing spiritual care for clients and supporting employees and clients in their faith journeys. Previous roles at The Bowery Mission include developing long-term sustainability programs as a chaplain and internship supervisor, and coordinating alumni programs for a women's recovery center. Academic experience includes serving as an adjunct professor at Nyack College, teaching spiritual formation, and assisting as a graduate teaching assistant at Alliance Theological Seminary. Dr. King founded the Christian Education Network, supporting Christian schools through professional development, and has a background in strategic planning management with the Catholic Healthcare System. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership, a Master of Divinity, and a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy and Management.
