James Perez

James Perez is an experienced leader in community service and ministry, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Community Life and Chaplain/Counselor at The Bowery Mission since February 2014. With a long-standing commitment to spiritual leadership, James has been a Pastor at Queens Christian Centre-The Family Church since May 1991, focusing on guiding individuals of diverse backgrounds in discovering their spiritual purpose and relationship with Jesus Christ. Previously, James held the position of Director of Operations at the Bowery Mission Harlem Men's Transitional Center from January 2013 to February 2014, overseeing the operations of the facility that supports men in their re-entry journey. James Perez holds an educational background from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, where studies were pursued from 1975 to 1979.
