Rebecca Birch

Rebecca Birch, BSc, PhD, currently serves as a Medical Science Liaison at Merck Group since October 2023. Prior experience includes a significant role at The Brain Tumour Charity, where Rebecca has held various positions since January 2018, including Head of Research and Acting Director of Research. Responsibilities encompassed developing and implementing research strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and leading discussions with the Board of Trustees. Earlier career stages included medical writing at Synergy Vision and postdoctoral research at Imperial College London, following a PhD at the University of Kent. Rebecca’s educational background also includes a Bachelor's degree from the Royal Veterinary College.
