Jared Updike

Jared Updike is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing software solutions across various industries. At TheBrain Technologies since November 2013, Jared has built the main UI control for cross-platform applications utilizing custom native graphics wrappers and shared C# code. Previous roles include contributing to GUI tools for artists at DreamWorks Animation and integrating legacy applications into a multi-machine audio/visual product at Oblong Industries Inc. Jared's engineering expertise also includes C# UI development and data conversion for retinal image analysis software at Doheny Eye Institute, as well as an internship at Pixar Animation Studios on the Global Tech team during the production of Ratatouille. Jared holds a BS in Computer Science from Caltech and has attended ArtCenter College of Design.
