Matt Mancini has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matt began their career as a Work Rider and Jockey in the racing industry, where they gained valuable experience. Matt then transitioned to a role at Warwickshire County Council, where they served as the Youth & Community Development Manager for over a decade. Following this, Matt Mancini took on the position of Director at The Racing Centre. Matt later joined the British Equestrian Federation as a Non-Executive Director. In 2015, they started working at the British Horseracing Authority, initially serving as the BHA Welfare Development Manager. Matt then progressed to become the Lead Safeguarding Manager and, most recently, assumed the role of Head of Safeguarding and Human Welfare.
Matt Mancini pursued their education at various institutions. From 2015 to 2017, they attended the University of Liverpool, where they obtained an MBA in Thoroughbred Horseracing Industries. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2004, they attended De Montfort University, where they obtained a degree in Youth & Community Development, specializing in Social Sciences.
