Tommy Churchyard

Tommy Churchyard is a communications executive at the British Horseracing Authority since February 2023. Prior to this role, Tommy served as a marketing executive at Plumpton Racecourse from September 2021 to February 2023. Tommy's journalism career includes positions at Spotlight Sports Group as a journalist for ANZ Bloodstock News and Racing Post, and as a trainee journalist for Racing Post. Earlier experience includes business development roles at EngageTech Ltd and freelance reporting for Bournemouth Daily Echo. Tommy was also the online sports editor for Bournemouth Rock, overseeing content and live coverage of AFC Bournemouth games. An educational background in multimedia journalism from Bournemouth University culminated in a first-class honors degree.
