Lynn Shore has a diverse work experience history. They started their career in 1994 as a Genome Sequencer at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, where they conducted genomic sequencing research and co-authored publications in Nature. Lynn then worked as the Head of Science at Danesfield Middle School under Somerset County Council from 1996 to 2003.

In 2006, Lynn started providing private and in-school English tuition for Dutch primary school children through their own company called Mindful English. They continued this role until 2018.

From 2010 onwards, Lynn worked at Urban Herbology as an Herbalist, Forager, and Educator, offering services such as herb foraging walks, courses, and apprenticeships, as well as private consultations that combined plant medicine, yoga, reflexology, and nature therapy.

In 2011, Lynn joined The British School of Amsterdam as a Learning Support Teacher specializing in inclusive education and personally tailored interventions for children aged 3 to 7. They also held the position of Head of Curriculum Support Faculty for the Senior School from 2018 onwards, where they demonstrated a history of raising standards through collaboration and department leadership, specifically in areas such as SENCO, Special Examination Arrangements, EAL, and Science teaching.

Lynn Shore has an extensive education history spanning various fields and disciplines. In 1990, they began their undergraduate studies at The University of Sheffield, where they pursued a BSc(hons) degree in Genetics and completed their studies in 1993. Afterward, in 1995, Lynn attended the University of Bristol, where they obtained a PGCE degree in Secondary Teacher of Science (Biology) in 1996. Continuing their education, Lynn pursued a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Liverpool from 2006 to 2010.

In recent years, Lynn pursued further education and certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2016, they undertook a Thrass Award program at Coventry University, focusing on Social and Therapeutic Horticulture. Lynn also completed a PGdip SEND program at Middlesex University from 2017 to 2019, where they studied NASENCO, autism, dyslexia, and Inclusion.

In addition to their formal education, Lynn has obtained numerous certifications and training in various areas. Lynn obtained advanced training as a Designated Safeguarding Lead through The Safeguarding Alliance in March 2022. Lynn also holds an Advanced First Aid Certificate from Rode Kruis Nederland, which they obtained in May 2021. Other certifications include Kruidengeneeskunde HBO from SORAG Opleidingen en Cursussen in September 2020, membership in the Association of Foragers since September 2020, and membership in the COMPLEMENTARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION as a CMA School Member since July 2020.

Throughout their career, Lynn has also pursued certifications and training related to counseling and mental health. Lynn obtained a School Counsellor Diploma from UK Open College in January 2020 and completed Youth Mental Health First Aid training from MHFA Nederland in the same month. In December 2018, Lynn completed the CPT3A program in Psychometric Testing, Assessment, and Access Arrangements through Real Training.

Aside from their education and training, Lynn has participated in various courses and workshops related to their interests. Lynn completed a Permaculture Design Course at Permaculture Visions in November 2013. In August 2012, they participated in the Spirit & Practice of the Wise Woman Tradition program at The Wise Woman Centre (Susun Weed). Furthermore, Lynn holds a Diploma in Herbal Medicine from the Institute of Natural Healing (Somerset), which they obtained in November 2003. Additionally, Lynn has a Yoga Teaching Diploma from The British Wheel of Yoga, obtained in November 2002, and a Precision Reflexology Practitioner Certificate from the School Precision Reflexology (Exeter), obtained in April 2001.
