Dirk Ganzel

Dirk Ganzel has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, primarily in engineering and management roles. Dirk started their career at Marriott Frenchmans Cove in 2008 as a Chief Engineer on a task force assignment. Dirk then moved on to Marriott Cypress Harbour in 2007, where they served as Chief Engineer and Project Manager. From 2009 to 2012, Dirk worked at Marriott SurfWatch Resort as Chief Engineer, overseeing the day-to-day operations and annual renovations. In 2012, they joined Ritz Carlton Private Residences in Chicago as the Residences Chief Engineer and Director of Loss Prevention. Dirk continued their career at Ritz Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation from 2013 to 2016, where they worked as the Director of Engineering and Project Manager. Dirk then joined The Sagamore Pendry Hotel in Baltimore in 2017 as Director of Engineering. In 2019, Dirk worked as the General Manager at VTrips before transitioning to The Partridge Inn Augusta, Curio Collection by Hilton, as the Director of Engineering. Most recently, they joined The Brown Hotel in 2020 as the Director of Engineering.

Dirk Ganzel completed their high school education from Hilton Head High School, earning a Diploma in Basics Studies between the years 1986 and 1990. Dirk later pursued higher education at James Madison Tech from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Principles with a field of study in Business Management.
