Leroy

Leroy is currently a Senior Editor at The Buddy Pass, a position they have held since July of 2022. Prior to this, Leroy worked as the Youth Voice Manager for UP Partnership from April 2019 to July 2022. In this role, Leroy was responsible for connecting young people from across the city and training them as researchers and policy advocates while helping to foster the leaders of tomorrow, today. Leroy has also co-founded BLKGEN, where they served as a creative strategist from February 2017 to January 2020. During their time at BLKGEN, Leroy was featured in Beijing-based City Weekend magazine for creativity and community building and engagement. Leroy also collaborated with local businesses to host 15 artistic events throughout Beijing and Shanghai communities.

Leroy has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Houston-Downtown.
