Nate Stortzum

Nate Stortzum is a seasoned insurance executive currently serving as a Partner in the Financial Sponsor/Professional Service Group at The Bulow Group since March 2024. With extensive experience in servicing the middle market deal community and complex accounts with national and international exposures, Nate has previously held leadership roles including Managing Partner at io.insure, Vice President at Alliant Insurance Services, and Vice President at ProQuest. Nate's expertise is particularly focused on Legal Malpractice and Transactional Risk insurance for private equity and professional service firms. Nate’s career began with underwriting positions at Argo Pro and Monitor Liability, and included an internship with the City of Chicago. Nate holds degrees from Loyola University Chicago and the Quinlan School of Business, both earned between 2006 and 2008.
