Nadine Smailes

Nadine Smailes has a diverse range of work experience. Nadine currently works as an International Student Representative at the University of Bristol, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Operations Executive at The Bunch from April 2022.

In 2021, Nadine worked as a Bar Team Member at Walkabout Bristol from July 2021 to May 2022.

Nadine'searlier experience includes being a Student Ambassador at the University of Bristol from September 2019 to September 2021, where they also held the position of 2nd Year Course Representative from January to August 2021.

In 2019, Nadine volunteered as a Research Assistant at The University of Hong Kong. Nadine assisted Dr. Alex Webb and their research team with a project on Northern India Himalayan tectonics, focusing on creating geological cross sections and annotating field photos using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Nadine's work experience began in 2017 when they interned at P3 Publishing from September to December 2017.

Nadine Smailes began their education in 2015 at ESF West Island School, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate degree from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they studied a variety of subjects including Geography, Biology, Art, Ab Initio Chinese, English Language and Literature, and Mathematics.

Subsequently, in 2019, Nadine enrolled at the University of Bristol, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geoscience. Nadine'santicipated graduation date is in 2023. Throughout their studies at the university, Nadine's field of study has focused on Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences.
