As a Heath Program Officer, Brittney Daniel is a part of the team who are responsible for designing, developing and implementing the Health Team’s portfolio strategy, goals, grantmaking and other activities as they relate to Health.
Brittney has worked in homeless services for over 7 years. Recently, she worked at LAHSA as a Community Engagement Coordinator where she served as a community liaison, advocate and managed community relations with LAHSA and their many partners. One of her biggest accomplishments there was organizing and executing the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count with her team. She has also worked at several agencies including Downtown Women’s Center, and PATH that are committed to the strategies toward ending homelessness. She is also a Geography Professor with a specialization in GIS and Cultural Geography.
She holds a both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Geography and Urban Planning.
