Mara Ranville

Mara Ranville, PhD, currently serves as Project Manager and Climate Content Strategist at The Carbonauts and as Senior Advisory Lead at Richard Attias & Associates. With a strong background in environmental science and policy, Mara has held multiple roles, including Expert Scientist/Educator at the American Museum of Natural History, Senior Advisor and Director of Research at The Lede Company, and Global Policy and Corporate Sustainability Advisor at Global Citizen. Over an extensive career, Mara has contributed to environmental and sustainability consulting through Ranville Consulting, directed operations at Beautiful Trouble, and taught as an Assistant Professor at Bard Center for Environmental Policy. Educational qualifications include a PhD in environmental toxicology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a BA in environmental studies and geology from Macalester College, and additional graduate studies in hydrogeology and groundwater chemistry.
