Laura Smith

Laura Smith is an Associate Attorney at The Carlson Law Firm since August 2023, having previously served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General's Office from May 2022 to August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Litigation Associate at Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson P.C. from September 2021 to April 2022, and as a Research Assistant and Community Development Law Clinic Student Attorney at Texas A&M University School of Law from June 2019 to May 2021. Laura also completed several legal internships, including at the Texas Water Development Board, Fort Worth ISD, and Green Equity Asia in 2019. Laura's educational background consists of a Juris Doctor degree from Texas A&M University School of Law (2018-2021) and a Bachelor of Government from The University of Texas at Austin (2014-2017).
