Lúcia Soares is a seasoned technology and investment professional with extensive experience in leading information technology strategies and transformations. At The Carlyle Group since February 2019, Lúcia has held positions as Partner, CIO, and Head of Technology Transformation, where responsibilities include providing IT advisory to investment teams and driving technology strategy to enhance portfolio company performance. Lúcia serves on several boards, including Hexaware Technologies, Hilb Group, and HITEC, while previously holding leadership roles at Health2047 Inc. and Johnson & Johnson, where Lúcia was Vice President of Healthcare Technology Strategy and CIO for multiple divisions. Lúcia's academic credentials include an MBA from San Jose State University and a Master's in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
