Zachary Betterton

Zachary Betterton is an experienced educator currently serving as the Lead STEM Teacher at The Carmel School since August 2017. In addition to this role, Zachary has been a Resident Assistant at Lynchburg College since August 2014, focusing on program planning and community development for residential students. As a Physics Lab Assistant and Tutor at Lynchburg College, responsibilities included acting as a teacher's aide and supervising tutoring sessions for introductory Physics courses. Previous experience includes working as a Caller for the Lynchburg College Phonathon and holding positions as a textbook seller, cashier, and shipping receiver at Barnes & Noble Textbooks. Zachary Betterton holds a degree in General Education from the University of Lynchburg, attended from 2013 to 2017, and completed studies in General Studies at Central Virginia Community College from 2011 to 2013.
