Alexander Bauer

Alexander Bauer is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Queens College since 2008 and has served as the Archaeology PhD Program Coordinator at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, since September 2015. In addition to academic roles, Alexander Bauer has been the Editor for the International Journal of Cultural Property since 2005 and a Parents Association Representative at The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine since September 2017. Prior experience includes lecturing in the Writing Program at Princeton University from 2005 to 2008. Alexander Bauer holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania (1997-2006) and a BA in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Haverford College (1992-1996).
