Yong-Jae Kim

Yong-Jae Kim currently serves as Chairman of the Korean Stroke Society and Vice President of the Neurosonology Specialty Group within the World Federation of Neurology. Since March 2019, Yong-Jae Kim has been a Professor and Head of the Department of Neurology at Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital, The Catholic University of Korea. Prior to this, Yong-Jae Kim was a Professor of Neurology at Ewha Womans University, where responsibilities included Director of the Stroke Center and Chair of the Department of Neurology from 2012 to 2015. Yong-Jae Kim also held visiting professor positions at UC Irvine in 2015-2016 and Wake Forest University in 2006-2007. Yong-Jae Kim earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The Catholic University of Korea, following studies at Seoul National University.
