Richard Shaffer

Richard Shaffer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare financial operations and analysis. Currently serving as the Manager of Provider Financial Operations at The Center for Health Information and Analysis since July 2019, Richard has progressed through various roles including Associate Manager and Senior Healthcare Financial Analyst. Prior to this, Richard worked as a Financial and Business Planning Analyst at Brigham and Women's Hospital and completed a fellowship at the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health. Richard's earlier experience includes personal training roles and a summer research internship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Academically, Richard holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, an MPH from Boston University School of Public Health, and a BA in Economics and Psychology from Denison University.
