Vina Smith-Ramakrishnan, MPH, is a dedicated public health professional specializing in maternal and reproductive health equity. Currently serving as a Fellow in Maternal and Reproductive Health at The Century Foundation since January 2022, Vina manages the Black Maternal Health Federal Policy Collective, focusing on eliminating racial and gender disparities in health outcomes. Previous experience includes a Senior Policy Associate role at the Population Institute and a Research Fellow position at The Democracy Collaborative, where Vina contributed to research on social determinants of health and produced various policy materials. Additionally, Vina interned at Planned Parenthood, tracking sexual and reproductive health policies and engaging in advocacy communications.
