Gerald Augustine

Gerald Augustine has extensive work experience in the technology sector. Starting with Datapro in 1999 as a Senior Engineer, they then moved to Dimension Data as a Technical Architect in 2003. In 2007, they joined Alexander Forbes International as the Head of I.T, where they worked until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they held the role of Special Projects - I.T Manager at Alexander Forbes Offshore, before becoming the Group Operations Manager - Technology from 2016 to 2017. Finally, they served as the I.T Director at Alexander Forbes Offshore from 2017 to 2023. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at The Channel Islands Co-operative Society.

Gerald Augustine holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. Gerald also pursued further education at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) from 2018 to 2019, earning the ACSI designation. In 2021, they received certification as a Certified Information Security Manager from ISACA. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Technology Management from The Open University, which they expect to complete in 2024.
