Cmilt Usman Shuaibu

Usman Shuaibu, CMILT, is a seasoned professional in the maritime and logistics sectors, currently serving as the Assistant Chief for Reform Coordination and Strategic Management/Blue Economy at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency since June 2011. Usman is instrumental in the effective implementation of the 2030 MTSP and leads various reform initiatives within the agency. In addition to a robust role in public service, Usman holds influential positions such as Next Generation Deputy Global Chairperson and CILT Regional Ambassador for Africa, and has founded Powerusy Nigeria Limited, the first digital freight forwarding marketplace. With extensive educational credentials, including a Master's degree in Shipping Management and Logistics from the World Maritime University, Usman is committed to fostering the next generation of maritime leaders through platforms like Youngship Nigeria and various mentorship initiatives.
