Brian Shay has extensive experience in the field of human resources and total rewards. Brian has held various leadership positions in companies such as The Chemours Company, SAP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Hay Group.
At The Chemours Company, Brian served as the Vice President of Human Resources Centers of Excellence, leading the Total Rewards and HR Operations functions. Brian also served as the Global Vice President of Total Rewards and Senior Human Resources Business Partner for the Corporate Functions groups where they provided strategic consulting on people and organization development.
Prior to their role at The Chemours Company, Brian worked at SAP as a TR Leader, responsible for defining the company's rewards and recognition strategies. Brian also served as a Senior Director in the Compensation and Benefits department, leading the Global Merger and Acquisition efforts and providing consulting support for various lines of businesses.
Before SAP, Brian worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Compensation Consultant, where they developed and implemented compensation management programs for clients across different industries.
Brian began their career at Hay Group as a Survey Manager and Client Service Coordinator.
Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated expertise in compensation and benefits, total rewards, HR operations, talent management, and strategic consulting.
Brian Shay completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from DeSales University in the period of 1990 to 1994. In 2021, they attended the Influential Communicator Program at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, and in 2022, they pursued Strategic Organization Design - Training at USC Marshall School of Business.
