Martha Younger-White

Senior Vice President - Employment And Rehabilitation at The Chicago Lighthouse

Martha Younger-White has a solid work experience background. Martha started in 2008 at the Illinois Department of Human Services, holding various roles such as Bureau Chief and Director of the Office of Accessibility and Customer Support. In these positions, they served as the agency ADA Coordinator and oversaw thirteen 800 numbers, ensuring access to public human service programs for seven million customers annually. In 2019, Martha joined The Chicago Lighthouse as the Senior Vice President - Employment and Rehabilitation.

Martha Younger-White obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Urban Studies from Northwestern University, where they studied from 1980 to 1983. Martha then pursued their Master's Degree in Urban Planning & Policy with a focus on City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois Chicago, completing their studies from 1985 to 1990.
