Martha Linden is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Currently serving as the Senior Media Officer and Acting Deputy Head of News at the Church of England since September 2014, Martha has played a significant role in shaping the church's media strategy. Prior to this, Martha worked at Press Association from September 1998 to August 2014 as a General/Religious Affairs Reporter, where responsibilities included covering a wide range of topics such as crime, politics, health, and social affairs. Martha holds a degree in Modern Languages (Joint Honours) from The Queen's College, Oxford, and a Diploma in Newspaper Journalism from Westminster Press Training Centre, having completed earlier education at Hayesfield Girls' School and St Brendan's VI Form College.
