David Cordani

David Cordani has extensive work experience in the insurance and healthcare industries. David began their career in 1988 as a Senior Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting. In 1991, they joined The Cigna Group, where they held various regional leadership roles until 2008 when they became President and COO. In 2009, Cordani was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Cigna Group. Outside of Cigna, they served on the boards of General Mills and ChildObesity180. David also held leadership positions in organizations such as the Business Roundtable, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), and the U.S.-India Business Council.

David Cordani holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Texas A&M University. David later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing at the University of Hartford.
