Owen Dalton

Mr. Dalton brings to TCG over six years of project management and design experience in smart building systems and integration projects . As the specialty service leader of the integration services group at a large A/E firm, he led multidisciplinary teams of technology consultants, MEP engineers, and data visualization analysts to deliver smart building consulting services for new construction and renovation projects.

Mr. Dalton has completed smart building projects as a smart building consultant, master systems integrator (MSI) and owner’s representative. He has developed CSI Division 25 standards for integrated automation specifications. He led proof of concept contract negotiations with Microsoft’s Azure Digital Twin platform to further realize use cases stemming from integrations with his previous firm’s smart office campaign. Additionally, he delivered PoE lighting for a commercial office headquarters project with circadian rhythm lighting sequences and occupancy informed space utilization use cases.

He holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a specialty focus in Lighting/Electrical systems from The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Dalton is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois.
