Dawn Weisz

Dawn Weisz is the CEO of MCE, a company established in 2008 that provides cleaner, locally-controlled electricity options to over one million residents and businesses in 36 Bay Area communities, emphasizing 100% clean energy. Additionally, since November 2020, Weisz serves as an Advisory Board Member for The CLEEN Project, the first co-operative idea database in the nation aimed at combating climate change and promoting climate justice. Prior professional experience includes roles as Principal Planner for the County of Marin, Executive Director at Sustainable North Bay, and Director of the UCLA Environmental Coalition, along with community organizing at Pacoima Urban Village. Weisz holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Social Welfare from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
