Daljit Singh

Daljit Singh is a Senior Data Scientist and Spatial Data Scientist at Climate since November 2019, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at Kansas State University from January 2014 to November 2019. Daljit Singh's research focuses on wheat breeding and genetics, conducting extensive experiments to explore the genetic and physiological underpinnings of various wheat traits, resulting in three peer-reviewed publications. Collaborative projects with institutions across South Asia, South America, and the United States led to presentations in multiple countries. Earlier experience includes a Field Research Assistant role at Virginia Tech, contributing to peanut variety evaluations and crop physiology experiments, which resulted in four peer-reviewed publications. Daljit Singh holds a Ph.D. in Wheat Genetics and Breeding from Kansas State University, a Master's degree in Crop Physiology from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from Punjab Agricultural University.
