Alton Phillips has over 18 years of experience in digital media, analytics, and audience development. In 2018, they joined Clique Brands as the SVP of Digital and VP of Research, Analytics & Audience Development. Prior to this, they were Head of Analytics & Audience Development at Fusion Media Group and OZY Media. From 2012-2015, they were the Sr. Director of Audience Development at NBC News Digital Group. Alton was also a Consultant and Freelance from 2002-2018, developing online collaboration tools and semantic analysis techniques. Before that, they were the Manager of Marketing at iVillage from 2000-2002.
Alton Phillips received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mathematics and Gender & Sexuality Studies from Vassar College, followed by a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Sociology from New York University, and then a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology from New York University.
