Kate Hurd

Kate Hurd is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in evaluation and research, currently holding the position of Senior Analyst IV at The Cloudburst Group since July 2012. Responsibilities at The Cloudburst Group span the development and implementation of diverse research projects in areas such as early childhood education, substance abuse prevention, and mental health. Prior roles within the organization include Senior Analyst III, II, I, and Analyst, all focusing on evaluation planning, methodology design, data collection, analysis, and report writing. Earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Emory University, where facilitation of mindfulness-based interventions occurred, and a Research Assistant at the CDC, conducting research on child neglect. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health in Behavioral Science & Health Education and a Master of Social Work, both from Emory University and the University of Maine, respectively.
