Benaifer Kapadia has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Benaifer currently serves as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at The Club Mumbai, where they are responsible for driving revenue generation and implementing an integrated marketing strategy. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing at GHM Ltd, where they managed cross-selling and partnerships with luxury travel partners. Benaifer also held leadership roles at Radisson Hotel Group, where they were responsible for revenue generation and represented the company at national and international platforms. Benaifer has also worked at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Sun-N-Sand Hotels Pvt. Ltd, The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), and Singapore Airlines, gaining experience in various sales and customer service roles.
Benaifer Kapadia completed their secondary education at St. Agnes High School (Convent of Jesus & Mary) from 1984 to 1994, where they obtained a Secondary School Certificate in SSC. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Tourism Honors at H.R. College of Commerce and Economics from 1994 to 1999. During their undergraduate studies, they also received an IATA/UFTAA Certification in Tourism and Travel Services Management from IATA Training in 1999.
In addition to their formal education, Benaifer Kapadia has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skill set. In 2014, they earned a Certificate of Accelerated Sales Performance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. More recently, in 2021, they completed the course "Resilient Leadership in challenging times." from Harvard Business School Online and "Understanding competitive advantage for strategy" from eHotelier.
