David Adams

VP And Operating Officer, State & District Partnerships at The College Board

David Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David began their career as a Teacher of Spanish Language and Culture at Wareham Public Schools in 1999. After a year, they moved to Sandwich Public School System, where they continued in the same role until 2005.

In 2005, David joined The College Board, where they held various positions within the organization. David started as an Educational Manager and later progressed to become a Senior Educational Manager in 2008. Subsequently, they served as a Senior Director from 2009 to 2012 and then as an Executive Director from 2012 to 2014. David further advanced their career at The College Board, becoming the VP of the Middle States Region from 2014 to 2015 and eventually the VP of the Middle States & New England Regions from 2015 to 2022.

Currently, David holds the role of VP and Operating Officer for State & District Partnerships at The College Board, a position they assumed in February 2022.

David Adams has an MBA in Public/Non-profit Management from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. David also has a BA in Spanish and Education from Eastern Michigan University.
