Gary Li

Gary Li has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Their most recent role is as a Principal Engineer at The College Board, where they are responsible for modernizing the organization's enterprise applications and services to the AWS Cloud. Prior to this, they served as a Solution Architect, redesigning and migrating the Institution Management system to serverless architecture solutions in AWS Cloud. Gary also worked as a Principal Software Engineer, building RESTful web services and developing web applications. Before joining The College Board, Gary worked at Arbinet as a Software Developer and Consultant, and at HealthScribe as a Software Developer. Throughout their career, Gary has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and development methodologies, and has been involved in full life cycle development projects.

Gary Li has a Master's degree in computer sciences from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Gary also holds a Bachelor's degree in Seismology and Geology from Peking University and a Master of Science degree in Seismology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
