Terrence Ingram has a diverse and extensive work experience. Terrence is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Outreach and Implementation at The College Board since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Team Director at LegacyWorks from March 2018 onwards, where they successfully managed a youth services organization in Birmingham, AL.
Terrence also has experience in the education sector, having worked at Curriculum Associates as a Sr. Program Manager from January to October 2021. Before that, they held multiple roles at Scantron Corporation, including Education Specialist, Client Program Manager, and Sr. Client Program Manager, from August 2012 to January 2021. Terrence received recognition for their impactful training materials during this time.
Additionally, Terrence has contributed to the community as an AmeriCorps Volunteer for Birmingham READS and as a Community Learning and Engagement Temp at Teach For America in 2012. Terrence has also worked as a Relief Counselor at the Christian Children's Home of Northwest Alabama from May 2008 to February 2012 and as a 7-8 ELA Teacher and Corps Member at KIPP Nashville from July 2009 to July 2011.
Terrence Ingram, PMP has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Birmingham-Southern College, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Terrence also pursued a Teaching Certification in Education from Lipscomb University from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their educational background, Terrence has participated in study abroad programs at Middlesex University in 2008, studying Black London, and at the University of Cape Town in 2007, focusing on African Studies, Religion, and English. Terrence has recently obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2022.
