Athena Valentine Lent

Athena Valentine Lent is an experienced professional with a diverse background in personal finance, youth development, and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Contributor for GOBankingRates and The College Investor, as well as a Personal Finance Columnist for Slate Magazine, Athena has established a strong presence in the financial media space. Athena is the CEO of Athena Valentine Agency, providing support to small business owners, and the Founder & CEO of Money Smart Latina, a platform dedicated to empowering Latinas in personal finance. Previously, Athena worked as a Community Liaison for FinCon and held various educational and managerial roles, including Student Development Manager at Jobs For Arizona's Graduates. Athena holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice and LGBT Studies from Arizona State University and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from the College of Southern Nevada.
