Chris Walters

Chris Walters currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at The Commit Partnership, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Summer Associate at Social Finance in 2022 and as a Policy Advisor at Texas 2036 from March 2019 to August 2021. Chris also worked at The Commit Partnership previously as an Associate of Analytics and has experience as a Special Education Teacher at FirstLine Schools from September 2015 to June 2017, as well as teaching roles with Teach For America and mentoring with Jumpstart. Chris holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Pomona College, and a Master's Degree in Education from Relay Graduate School of Education, supplemented by studies at the Universidad de Salamanca in 2013.
