Deborah Jamieson Obe

Deborah Jamieson, OBE is currently the Director and Head of Office in the Secretary-General's Office at The Commonwealth. Deborah has a background in various government departments such as the Ministry of Justice UK, UK Government Department, and Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), where Deborah held leadership roles in cross-cutting projects, civil service, and CEO positions. Deborah also has experience in healthcare as an Advanced Practitioner at UCH NHS Trust and in policy development related to domestic violence at the Home Office UK. Deborah holds Bachelor's Degrees in Nursing and Law from the University at Albany and University of London, respectively.
