Amanda Carey-McDermott

Amanda Carey-McDermott is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in healthcare and public sector services. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at The Confederation, Hillingdon CIC since August 2023, Amanda previously held multiple leadership roles including Managing Director at SSP Health, where responsibilities included overseeing primary care services across the North West. Amanda's tenure at Practice Plus Group as Chief Transformation Officer focused on innovative care models to align with the NHS's Long Term Plan. Other notable roles include National Director for NHS111 at Care UK and Regional Director at Serco, where Amanda managed significant service portfolios and implemented transformative healthcare solutions.
