Stephanie Perry

Stephanie Perry is an experienced art educator and practicing artist with a comprehensive background in various artistic mediums. Currently serving as a contract Art Instructor at The Contemporary Austin since June 2018, Stephanie facilitates multiple courses that enrich creative expression and studio practice. From 1993 to 2021, Stephanie served as an Elementary Art Teacher in the Austin Independent School District, managing over 450 students annually and contributing to curriculum development as a National Board Certified Art Teacher. In addition, Stephanie has extensive experience as an artist, creating original works for private collectors and participating in numerous exhibitions across local venues. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from The University of Texas at Austin, Stephanie also plays a vital role as a mentor and facilitator for new art teachers within the AISD.
