Avery Anapol

Avery Anapol is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in editorial roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Commissioning Editor for Politics + Society at The Conversation UK since June 2021, Avery specializes in commissioning and editing news analysis that leverages academic expertise for the general public. Previous positions include Digital Editor at UCL European Institute, where responsibilities included managing the website and promoting events, and roles at The Hill as Associate Editor and Social Media Curator, contributing to comprehensive news coverage of U.S. politics. Additional experience encompasses digital and communications positions with organizations such as the London Cycling Campaign, National Bonsai & Penjing Museum, and various writing roles that highlight analytical and editorial capabilities.
