Craig Nelson

Craig Nelson is a seasoned operations professional with extensive experience in the lumber and construction industry. Currently serving as Corporate Operations Project Manager at The Cook & Boardman Group, LLC since July 2023, Craig has held multiple leadership roles including Regional Operations Manager at the same company and Director of Operations at Builders from May 2017 to July 2023. Previous positions include Division Manager and Assistant Division Manager at Builders, as well as Assistant Manager at Alpine Lumber, where responsibilities included overseeing the Greenfield expansion into Southern Colorado. Earlier in Craig's career, significant expertise was gained at ProBuild Holdings, managing a $110+ million Treated Lumber category and supervising the integrity of corporate inventory. With a foundational role at Home Lumber/ProBuild Company, Craig has demonstrated a comprehensive ability to manage operations, enhance sales strategies, and lead teams effectively. Educational background includes studies at Arapahoe Community College.
